Rutile
Rutile is another major Titanium ore used in manufacturing of Titanium dioxide pigments, Titanium metal, a high-tech alloy owing to its light weight, high strength and resistance to corrosion. Though rutile is a reddish mineral, it appears to be black to the naked eyes. More than 90% of Rutile is used as feedstock for the production of white pigment. The remnant is used for the production of Titanium sponge and Titanium metal. Indian rutile sand is mostly consumed in the welding electrode sector. Rutile ore is largely available in countries like Australia, India, South Africa, Ukraine and Sierra Leone. Minor suppliers are Srilanka, Malaysia, Madagascar, Brazil and Mozambique.
VVM is the first Private Rutile manufacturers in India catering to the needs of Welding Electrode industries. Also, we are proud to state that all the leading welding electrode manufacturers use our PuRutile. Easy grindablity, owing to its optimum sizing, is a special characteristic of our brand.
